The OC Fair blends lots of different things together in delicious ways. Agriculture & fried food. Demolition derbies and cuddly lambs. Brains & Weird Al. We got to do the brand campaign for the fair, as well as a stand alone campaign for a traveling exhibit called Al’s Brain.

Weird Al’s Brain

Weird Al Yankovic created a 3-D infotainment film and interactive exhibit about the human brain for the OC Fair. We got to promote it. The exhibit and film took fair patrons on a journey inside Weird Al’s Brain. It appeared at the OC Fair and then was sold as an attraction to other fairs around the country.

AlsBrain.com was the portal into the wormhole that is Weird Al’s brain. Meaning, you could buy swag, watch behind the scenes footage of how the 3D movie and exhibit were made and find out the different fairs the Al’s Brain exhibit would be at next.

Weird Al’s Brain teaser campaign

The year before Al’s Brain became a reality, we created a teaser campaign to let patrons know that something big was coming next year. Street team members handed out stickers at the entrance and the Brain Donor Card ad was in the fair program. The teaser AlsBrain.com conducted a series of extremely complex scientific tests on potential brain donors to make they were viable candidates.
